An Evening with Elvis’ Friends and Original Musicians
The production An Evening with Elvis’ Friends and Original Musicians is widely considered one of the best Elvis tributes, and focuses on the young Elvis, the one that rocked the world….
Back when he was young, innovative, exciting and dangerous.
The touring band includes musicians who worked with Elvis: drummer Bob Lanning played background for Elvis in 63 concerts in the early 1970s, and percussionist Eddie Graham.Elvis loved Eddie’s percussion. There’s even footage from “That’s The Way It Is” on YouTube where Elvis introduces Eddie. You can also see Eddie in several of the Las Vegas rehearsal scenes in the original film. These coming shows mark Eddie’s first time in Europe!
Leadsinger in the show is the highly popular Dwight Icenhower, who is considered one of the best interpreters of Elvis and looks and sounds just like the young Elvis.
It comes as no surprise that Dwight Icenhower has won this year again the title of ‘The World’s Best Elvis’
Also there will be Karate champion Dave Hebler who was Elvis’ bodyguard in the 70s, and wrote a book about it in ’77.
An Evening with Elvis’ Friends and Original Musicians is a comprehensive set of Elvis’ music, including widely loved classics like Always On My Mind, Suspicious Minds and Don’t Be Cruel.
A unique opportunity to get up-close to the people who knew Elvis, as after every show Dave Hebler, Bob Lanning and Eddie Graham are doing a meet & greet where you can ask them anything you want.
