BOND

BOND have received a staggering 56 platinum and 15 gold disc awards to their credit their most recent
single “Come Home” released June 25th 2020 on WA Records premiered on Scala Radio by Mark Forrest
shot straight to the number one position on the iTunes Classical Charts ahead of releases by Celine Dion
and Andrea Boccelli with Ed Sheeran and Dua Lipa. Their latest EP, ʻThe Collectionʼ went top ten in the
iTunes Classical Chart on the day of release.
They have in recent years been writing and recording with a number of renowned songwriters and record
producers including David Arnold, Nitin Sawhney, Toby Pitman, Kevin Malpass, Tonči Hulji and Michael
Giacchino, performing at Michaelʼs 50th birthday concert and his 2019 Christmas Variety show both at the
Royal Albert Hall in London.
In 2021 they have released two singles including Experienceʼ which went straight in at Number One on the
iTunes classical chart and was also featured on the Sam Hughes Scala radio show. Their newest single
titled, ʻCease and Desistʼ is composed by the multi award winning composer David Arnold. New music is
also on the way from the quartet.

BOND made their film debut in the James Bond spoof, ʻJohnny Englishʼ starring Rowan Atkinson, appearing as
themselves and performing their original song “Kismet” in the main theme (written by band member Gay-Yee).
After being invited to play at the Bond film premier “Die another Day”, they were then subsequently asked to
appear again as themselves in the directorʼs next film: “XXX State of the Union” and in which they performed
the song “Victory”.

BOND have participated in numerous brand endorsements including Jaguar, Raymond Weil, Martel
(China), Singha (China), Diiachi Kosho (Japan), Panasonic, Marshall Fields Department stores US ( now
Target), Herbal Essences by Clairol. Peugeot also commissioned the group to record and create new
versions of Vivaldiʼs four seasons for their 308cc car campaign.
Yamaha have also supported and sponsored BOND throughout their career and gave Gay-Yee the
opportunity to advise on how the Cello should be designed in order to make travelling with the
instrument on planes that much easier.
In September 2020 they took part in a QnA with conjunction with Yamaha discussing their instruments the
YEV105 and YEV104.

BOND have performed with many of the worldʼs leading international artists, including amongst others,
Luciano Pavarotti, Nigel Kennedy, Nick Mason, Andre Rieu and the Johann Strauss Orchestra.
They have enjoyed many career highlights and touring the world many times over, performing in world class
venues, from their debut (and subsequent headline concerts) at the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Shea
Stadium in NYC, the Workerʼs Stadium in Beijing, Times Square NYC and the Sydney Opera House in Australia.
A major highlight was performing in front of millions both live and via Worldwide TV/Media during the Closing
Ceremony of the Olympic Games London 2012.
In January 2020 they performed a sell out show at the prestigious Union Chapel in London.
In July 2021 the band performed their first ever streamed concert from the Tabernacle in London.
Later on in the Summer they performed at the Sound on the Ground Festival as special guests alongside the
Philharmonic Orchestra.
They will be playing the prestigious Atlantis in Bahamas to see in the New Year.

2020 marked 20 years since the release of the bandʼs debut album, ʻBornʼ they kicked off the year in style
with a sell out concert at the prestigious Union Chapel in London where they performed favourites and a
few new songs including recent singles, ʻI Canʼ Waitʼ as featured on the BBC2 and Amazon Prime show,
ʻGood Omensʼ and ʻPantheraʼ. The concert also featured an acoustic section where they performed their
2020 #1 ITunes Classical chart single ʻCome Homeʼ accompanied by Jack Pepper from Scala Radio
playing on the piano.
